Muskoka Rock Liners is part of Muskoka Detail, a Huntsville detailing shop. Customers kept asking where to get a sprayed bed liner nearby, and after the old Line-X of Muskoka in Huntsville closed around 2022, the nearest option was Barrie. We are opening a spray-in liner shop at 215 Main Street West in December 2026.
Where it started
Muskoka Detail began as a mobile detailing business and moved into a workshop at 215 Main Street West in Huntsville. Over the years a lot of the work turned out to be trucks: work trucks, cottage trucks and dealer trucks being cleaned up for sale.
When you detail a truck, you see the bed. You see the scratches from firewood, the chips along the top of the walls, and the rust starting in the corners. And customers kept asking the same thing: who sprays bed liners around here?
The gap
For a while there was an answer. Line-X of Muskoka operated in Huntsville, and it closed around 2022. Since then, the nearest LINE-X has been in Barrie, about 134 km from Huntsville. For someone in Dorset or Port Carling, that is a long way to go twice for one job.
So we started looking at what it would take to do it properly ourselves.
What we are building
We spent time on the parts that decide whether a liner lasts. That means the material, the prep and the warranty:
- Material: pure aromatic polyurea, sprayed hot at high pressure with a plural-component rig, 2.5 mm on the floor and tailgate and about 2 mm on the walls.
- Prep: sanded factory paint and a primer coat before every spray.
- Finishes: standard, a UV-stable aliphatic topcoat, or colour through a tinted topcoat.
- Warranty: lifetime, against peeling, cracking or delamination, for as long as you own the truck. Impact, cutting and chemical damage are not covered.
- Prices: published for every bed size on our Pricing page, with no discounts and no quote games.
Spraying starts in December 2026. Standard and UV beds are done the same day. Colour beds take three days.
Same shop, same people
The liner shop runs out of the same Huntsville location as Muskoka Detail, with the same small team. Spencer runs the schedule and most of the spraying, and Cody, who founded Muskoka Detail, handles prep and dealer accounts. When you call (705) 783-8458, one of them picks up.
That also means you can have the truck detailed while it is in for a liner, if you want to.
We are a small shop and we are new at this side of the business, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. What we can promise is the same thing Muskoka Detail customers already know: we will tell you straight what we see on your truck, we will stand behind the work, and if something is not right you can drive over and talk to the people who did it.
